The Taree Community is located in beautiful Kingston, Washington and comprised of 3 developed sections with 160 lots. This neighborhood is within walking distance of the downtown area, including the Port of Kingston with the state ferry dock, the Village Green community center, and a variety of small businesses. The Taree Community is also near the White Horse Golf club, two casinos, the many trails of Heritage Park, and several other waterfront parks.The community was developed with beautiful views of AppleTree Cove, Cascade Mountains, and the Seattle shipping lanes in mind and as such view protection is a focal point of the covenants. There is a community trail to the private beach access and two community parks. The Taree Community Association is comprised of volunteer homeowners serving three-year terms without any dedicated staff, and thus the association dues are very reasonable (currently just $150 per year).
A longtime homeowner says "Taree is a nice community while being comfortable with itself. Taree is quiet and it feels safe. Taree has a variety of amenities suited to its' northwest waterfront site that all residents own and can use, i.e., trails, parks, waterfront, beach access."
